‘Why do they always paint hospitals this color?’ Mark thinks to himself. ‘I wonder if they have a special consultant that comes in and instructs the specific color code the building needs on its walls.’ He looks up and down the hallway and acknowledges that all the colors are consistent. ‘Maybe they thought —’

“Are you ready Mr. Miller?” a short lady with dark hair interrupts his thoughts.

The House

A very talented Carpenter always wished to build his own dream house. But he didn’t have the money and the means to get it done. One day, a Man in a suit came to him and said, “I’ll give you everything you need to build your dream house. Just the way you imagined it. You can live in it for as long as you want and I’ll even pay you for the upkeep and all the upgrades you’d ever want.

I have always loved a good story. Ever since I was young, reading children stories of fairy tales and folklores allowed me to be engrossed in imagination with no limits. Later, as a young adult, reading comic books and mangas gave me an appreciation of the different ways story-telling can be. Currently, reading classic fantasies and science fictions taught me more about complicated characters and intricate plot lines. So now, I figured I’d try building on some of my own ideas that’s been filling my brain.
